ABOUT
The library is named for Phillis Wheatley (1753? – 1784) whose poetry was published during her lifetime. For this accomplishment, the library is named in her honor. The library serves a predominantly African-American population and the multicultural historic Cornhill neighborhood bordering the library.

All shows at Shrine World Music Venue are all ages!

Shrine is a multimedia arts and culture venue, founded in 2007 by musicians and music lovers in the music capital of Harlem, USA. They are dedicated to art and culture in all mediums: film, theater, dance, and live music.
