Bringing Conscious Back is grassroots movement started by Creative Director, Nicholle La Vann in 2013.  We are a collective group of musicians, filmmakers, actors,  volunteers, spoken word artists and filmmakers inspiring audiences and encouraging conscious dialogue in the community.  Providing a platform for discussion at each event we explore topics such as violence, poverty, mental health,  incarceration and green initiatives.

Executive Producer, Ervin Johnson has independently sponsored the events since 2013.  Mr. Johnson provided transportation for artists from Rochester to New York. Johnson has been a major asset with providing organization with talent and venues.

In 2017, Marvin McCraw partnered with the BCB movement  as the Creative Producer organizing the talent and securing venues.  McCraw organized a "youth group"  I.T.A.V. (It take a village) and has kids from 13 to 22 years old in this "village".   McCraw mission is to bring our community back into the lives of our youth and create a fun, loving, educational, creative environment which supports the mission of Bringing Consciousness Back movement.
